English for where you're going next

*AI-generated image of Hamburg

Perhaps something has changed — a new role, more international work, a move abroad or a presentation you need to get right. Or maybe you're simply tired of your English not quite reflecting the person you are in your own language?

We start with where you are, what you need English for and the situations where you'd like to feel more confident.

Your English. Your situations.

No two people come to me needing exactly the same thing.

You might want to contribute more confidently in meetings, explain complex ideas more clearly, prepare for an interview or presentation, communicate with more precision, work on your pronunciation or simply find the words more quickly when you're speaking.

We work on the English that will make a difference to your work and life.

coaching, Teaching or a bit of both?

Sometimes you need someone to teach you something: a grammar point, a better phrase, a pronunciation pattern or a clearer way to structure what you're saying.

Sometimes you already know enough English.

You need the chance to use it, useful feedback and someone to help you work out what's getting in the way.

Most of the time, it's a mixture of both.

That's why I use the word coaching.

We don't work through a textbook from beginning to end.

We work with the English you already have and build from there - around what you need now and where you're going next.

01. We talk

We start with a 20-minute conversation about your English, what you need it for and what you'd like to change.

It's also a chance for both of us to decide whether working together feels like a good fit.

02. we figure out What matters

If we decide to continue, we'll identify the situations, language and skills that are most useful to you and agree on what you'd like to work towards.

03. we practise

Sessions are practical and conversational, with teaching, practice and feedback built around what you need.

We'll work with real situations wherever we can — the conversations you're having, the work you're doing and the things you need to say.

04. We adapt

Your English will develop. Your work and life may change. What you need from our sessions can change too.

So we keep checking in and adjust what we're working on as we go.

Ways to work together

20 minutes · €15

Tell me a little about where you are with your English, what you need it for and what you'd like to feel more confident doing.

We'll talk about whether I can help and what working together could look like.

If you decide to continue with a coaching plan, the €15 is credited towards it.

One-to-one coaching.

60-minute sessions · online or in Hamburg

For people who want individual support built around their English, their goals and the situations that matter to them.

6 sessions

A focused period of coaching around a particular goal, situation or change.

12 sessions

More time to develop your English, build confidence and put what you're learning into practice.

20 sessions

Longer-term coaching for broader goals or a period of professional or personal change.

Ongoing coaching.

For people who prefer to work together on an ongoing basis, with one or two sessions each week and a regular time reserved for you.

You don't need to know which option you need before we speak. If I think I can help, we'll work out what makes sense together.

Small-group coaching.

For colleagues, teams or small groups who want to work on shared communication goals.

Sessions can be built around the situations your group actually encounters — from meetings and presentations to day-to-day communication, pronunciation, confidence and more precise use of English.

Pricing depends on group size, goals and programme requirements.

Not sure what you need?

You don't need to arrive with a programme already worked out.

That's part of the first conversation.

Tell me what's happening, where English fits into it and what you'd like to be different. We'll work out whether working together makes sense.
